Needs: When Kistler first came to us, they had established an initial web presence and store through another fishing portal site. They needed to begin to establish their own separate domain name and identity on the web as a way of reaching customers and increasing sales of their Kistler brand fishing rods.
Solution: With our extensive experience in e-commerce web sites, we were able to plan and implament an online solution for Kistler that would help transition his company and products from being dependant on a fishing community portal site, to an independent and unique brand and online store that would satisfy his current customers and attract new ones.
We accomplished this by customizing industry standard e-commerce solutions to visually and technically integrate into a dynamic database driven web site where the customer and their employees can update and edit their site easily at any time. Structurally we organized the site to suit customers who want to shop by product brands or type of enviornment they want to fish in. In order to attract new customers we have put in place a variety of search engine optimization techniques including making sure all URL addresses are search engine friendly, keyword optimizing content, and structuring the site to be easily found and indexed by search engines such as google and yahoo. In addition we suggested and integrated a community forum where customers could come and talk about their experience with Kistler Custom Fishing Rods.
Finally, we have aided Kistler with many of the services Paradigm provides, from product photography, marketing consulting, media management, statistical reviews, newsletter management and more.

Since the original site lauch in 2004, KistlerRods.com has shown a steady increase in visitors each month, equaling over 800% growth over 3 years. Visitors keep coming back because of the high quality products, but also due to the growth of community through forum discussions, newsletters, and testimonials that supports brand quality perception, loyalty, and satisfaction. All this has lead to substantial sales increase that has grown web sales to be a healthy part of their overall sales picture including retail and wholesale. Through this and other means Kistler as a company has now expanded to a larger headquarters.
